Fort Larned

I’m not sure how the name Larned is pronounced. On the Santa Fe Trail in the center of Kansas is Fort Larned. Built to protect the Santa Fe Trail. It has no wall but is surrounded on three sides by a river.      https://www.nps.gov/fols/index.htm
