LEHIGH GORGE SCENIC RAILWAY(Below)
Several plans were aborted or deferred on this stop. The train ride was accomplished. We shared the train with 500 fellow passengers. For a westerner if this eastern “gorge” were in Colorado, it would be called a wooded hillside.
The open car is a great ride.

BUSHKILL FALLS
Bushkill Falls The Niagara of Pennsylvania (if there is water).
When we visited Bushkill Falls we were told tickets to hike to the falls were $17.00 each (dogs hike free). And, by the way most of the falls were dry and not running (falling) due to drought. Even though most waterfalls were not actually falling ,there were hundreds of people lined up and hiking the falls, not us.
