Palisades State Park is south of Manti ,Utah.
Just north of Palisades State Park is the town of Manti, Utah. Manti has one of the largest and oldest Mormon Temples.
We were not invited inside. Something about needing a LDS temple recommend, and I wasn’t getting that. So the way I read the problem (according to the LDS point of view) what if you (or me) promised to follow gods rules and be a spiritual person and was let into the temple. THEN you weren’t capable of keeping your promise to god and broke the promise. It would be LDS’s job to represent god at that point. Confusing. I understood it better from the biblical quote the LDS Church uses when talking about temple sacredness.
Ezekiel addresses this in his statement:
“Thus saith the Lord God; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary” All I can figure is the problem is with my heart, and that’s most likely true.
