At Heron we just relax for a few day until we feel compelled to do something.
Our question is should we visit Canyon de Chelly as scheduled (actually reservations can’t be made there)? Or, just go directly to Gallup, then on to Alpine, Az.. The issue is the heat and possibly some strong winds. When 60-70 mph is even mentioned we start watch the forecasts. So we’re watching the weather.
