Didn’t make hells Canyon Canyon Pines RV

Twelve hour drive to Idaho. somewhere during the setup of the RV the RV slipped off its plastic tiles ( 2 inches) and fell 2 inches. We have a 15,000 lb trailer, so this was traumatic. No harm was done , so far as we can see.The next two days became rest days. We did tour the Salmon River.

Washington St., somewhere between Mt Rainer and Mt St Helens Harmony RV

I’m amazed at small town America. There are homes and ranches scattered throughout rural Washington and Oregon. There are little towns proud of their towns and Schools. Toledo, Washington( pop725),Toutle, Washington (pop 1607). But there are so many families scattered across the countryside the effective populations of these towns is much higher. For example Toutle has a school system of 600 students . Many come from rural areas. My favorite name for a town is Mossy Rock (pop 701).

From the Harmony RV Park we visited Mt. Rainer and Mt St Helens National Volcanic Memorial.
