Oklahoma is the only state with an official meal.

It consists of the following:  fried okra, cornbread, barbecue pork, squash, biscuits, sausage and gravy, grits, corn, strawberries (state fruit), chicken fried steak, pecan pie, and black-eyed peas. (If you deep fry it, just about anything, I’ll eat it)

Staying at the Twin Fountains RV Resort. We spent a couple of hours at the resort’s SEMPER FI Bar. That’s right , an RV park with a bar. My food order of fried wings and fried mushrooms took 45 minutes but …who cares. We met a couple who have been living and remotely working on the road 2 1/2 years looking for a place to permanently live, they choose Virginia…okay.
