Stayed at La Hacienda RV. It was billed as being in the Austin area. This actually means a 45 minute drive to downtown Austin. Tour guide said Austin rates 4th nationally for traffic congestion. YEA, our double wide truck has been a challenge.
Austin has an amazing downtown scene, music, food, and youth.
Fredericksburg, Texas (Named for Frederick the Great)
A town noted for its Pacific War museum (WWII), Luckenbach (small
outdoor bar in the hill country where Willie and Waylon peformed)
and a main street with shops and restaurants. Founded by Germans,
the town has several German food restaurants. A tourist mecca Frederickburg
has a festival or a concert each week. Fredericksburg RV was standard fare, grass,
gravel, lighted and somewhat noisy.
