We camped at Trinidad State Park. Canoed one day.

LEG TWO ColoradoSprings at the fabulous(and fabulously expensive.

Canoe was put on Quail Lake. Quail Lake is a small pretty lake.

Cheyenne Man State Park.

LEG THREE Lathrop State Park

Surprisingly complete with fishing areas, swimming ,wake and no-wake parts of lake Martin. There is a smaller lake Lake Horseshoe. Lots of fishing.

STOP ONE DOLORES Friends came up to join use for the weekend. Met some nice folks from Tucson Jeff and Jennifer(British accent) Link to 10 things to do in Dolores. Includes Mesa Verde, Fly Fishing, Lake McPhee, road to Telluride and Durango(visiting that is).

Dolores is a one Brewery, one grocery, 5 restaurants (two serve Mexican food),

STOP TWO FRUITA, COLORADO We were too early for the fruit, mostly peaches.

Colorado National Monument is a must, there’s also rafting the Colorado here, biking and hiking.
